Pumpkin Pie


1 pie shell
2 cups pumpkin, cooked
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup evaporated milk
2 large eggs


Preheat oven to 425°F. In a medium bowl, mix pumpkin with dry ingredients. Heat evaporated milk in saucepan until hot. Beat eggs and add heated evaporated milk to the pumpkin mixture.

Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 10 minutes at 425°F. Reduce oven temperature to
350°F, continue baking pie for 35 - 55 minutes until done.
