Pecan Nut Crust
1 9" crust
2 1/2 cups pecans, finely ground
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a medium mixing bowl, stir together ground nuts, cinnamon and sugar. Add melted butter. Mix well. Press mixture onto the bottom and sides of a pie plate or springform pan. Chill for about 30 to 45 minutes to set. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until lightly browned. Do not over bake.
Cool completely before using.
