Chocolate Banana Cream Pie
1 chocolate pie crust
1 4-ounce package instant vanilla pudding/pie filling
1 cup cold milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 8-ounce container frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 medium bananas, sliced
1 15-ounce bottle chocolate sundae syrup
In a medium bowl, combine pie filling, milk, vanilla and 1/2 whipped topping. Mix on low speed until blended. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes until thick.
Pour 1/3 of the mixture into the pie crust. Place a layer of the bananas on top of mixture, using 1/2 of the bananas. Pour the remaining filling mixture on top of the layer of bananas. Chill for 2 hours.
Garnish with remaining bananas, whipped topping and chocolate sundae syrup.
