Apple Crumb Pie

Ingredients

1 9" pie shell
4 large baking apples
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup butter or margarine

Directions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Pare apples; cut in eighths and arrange in 9" pie shell. In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar with the cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples. In a small bowl, sift 1/2 cup sugar with flour, cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake for 40 - 50 minutes.
