Rum Icing

This icing dries to a shiny. smooth finish on your cookies.


1 cup sifted confectioners’ (powdered) sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, room temperature
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon rum extract


In a small bowl stir together powdered sugar, butter, water, and rum extract until smooth. Drizzle or spread with a knife over warm cookies.
