Mississippi Mud Icing
Chocolate icing to use with Mississippi Mud Cake.
1 stick butter or margarine
1/2 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup evaporated milk or whole milk
1 pound (4 cups) confectioners (powdered) sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
In a sauce pan, melt butter. Add cocoa, vanilla, milk and sugar. Beat until smooth. Pour over warm cake. Sprinkle with nuts.
Use to ice Mississippi Mud Cake. Additional milk may be used to achieve the desired consistency.
