Caramel Glaze

Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
1/4 cup half and half or heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

In a small saucepan, combine cream, sugar, and butter. Cook for 2 1/2 minutes after butter has melted. Add vanilla. Pour over hot or warm cake.
