Stir-n-Drop Oatmeal Cookies


3 dozen cookies


1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons milk
1 large egg
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup raisins


Preheat oven to 375°F. Using pan release, lightly grease baking sheets.

In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and ginger. Add brown sugar, rolled oats (oatmeal). Stir until blended. Mix in thoroughly oil, milk and egg. Stir in walnuts and raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2" apart on baking sheet.

Bake 10 minutes, until golden brown. Cool 1 minute and remove from cookie sheet. Continue to cool on cooling grid.
