Snowflake Cookies


6 dozen cookies


1 cup butter or margarine, room temperature
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
1 tablespoon clear vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
nonpareils (for decoration)


Preheat oven to 350°F. Using Pan Release, lightly grease baking sheets or line pans with parchment paper.

In large bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla. On low speed, mix in flour until well blended. Scoop dough into cookie press using a spoon and press cookies onto the greased cookie sheets. Place a candy in the center of each cookie.

Bake 8 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 2 minutes and remove from cookie sheet. Continue to cool on cooling grid.
