Peanut Butter Chocolate Layer Bars
24 bar cookies
20 peanut butter sandwich cookies, finely crushed (about 2 cups)
3 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
1 1/4 cups salted dry-roasted peanuts, chopped
1 cup (6 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup flaked coconut
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a small bowl, combine cookie crumbs and butter. Press into bottom of greased 13" x 9" baking pan. Layer peanuts, chocolate chips and coconut over crumb mixture. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk over layered mixture.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until coconut is golden brown. Place on wire rack and cool completed in pan. After cool, cut into 24 bars.
