Chocolate Cinnamon Spritz Cookies
1/2 cup butter or margarine, room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 large egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar and cinnamon. Mix on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla extract. Beat well. Blend in chocolate. Add flour and salt. Mix on low speed until blended. Fit a cookie press with the desired template and fill with dough. Press out cookies 1" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 6 to 9 minutes or until lightly brown around the edges. Cool 2 minutes on cooling grid. Remove cookies from cookie sheet and continue to cool on grid.
