Glazed Almonds


1 cup almonds
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract


In heavy skillet combine almonds, sugar and butter. Cook over medium low, stirring constantly until nuts are coated and golden brown, approximately 15 minutes. Stir in vanilla. Pour onto aluminum foil, let cool, salt and break into clusters.
