Old Car Festival
The Old Car Festival is the longest running antique car show in the country. During your visit you can immerse yourself in Americas automotive past by taking a journey back to a time when the automobile was a new technological wonder. American engineers, inventors and entrepreneurs were out to draw on its potential for science and commerce. Americans in general were learning to love this new era of mobility and convenience.
One weekend in September, the streets and grounds of Greenfield Village are filled with hundreds of authentic vehicles from the 1890s through the 1930s. While walking through the streets of the village you have an opportunity to talk to the proud owners about their treasured artifacts.
Some of the activities during the weekend include: seeing drivers engage in games of skill, watching a Model T assembled in just minutes, attending a fascinating lecture or sitting back and enjoying our experts sharing "car talks" while vintage vehicles pass by.
This is just a sampling of a few of the vehicles that have been on display for the weekend.
